Each of us has moments in which his mind feels as if his mind wanders without purpose and direction … sometimes it can even be troublesome and affect our work and social life. Here are some ways through which you can stay sharp and fresh.
The brain needs sleep. We – Homo sapiens – have evolved as circus beings. We should go to sleep (in an optimal sleeping position) when the sun sets and wakes up when the sun rises. And while modern society and culture have limited our ability to observe circadian rhythm, the brain still needs it to be healthy. That is why we need to simulate these rhythms as much as possible.
When the sun sets, allow your body and mind to start sleeping.
Optimize the possibility of a relaxed sleep with hot tub, chamomile tea, valerian tincture or meditation. Keep in mind that if you wake up in the middle of the night, you should not worry about it. Evolutionally, we should be awake at night and from time to time to communicate with our neighbors or even to create a generation at these times. The key is not to let this create anxiety in you and use the time for meditation or some other type of calming the body and allow it to eventually return to sleep.
Go out in the morning light in the hours between 6 am and 10 am for 20 minutes each day. At these times the sun is at an angle, so the eyes perceive the light and signal to the brain that this is the beginning of a new day.
A healthy breakfast is another means of letting your body know that this is the beginning of a new day. In the morning, we need to feed our bodies with saturated nutrients to initiate the innumerable biochemical reactions that occur every day in each of our cells.
Our bodies are designed to be on the move . This does not necessarily mean marathons or climb Mount Everest. It means walking, riding a bicycle, stretching or dancing. Increase your heart rate for at least 30 minutes a day, preferably outdoors in nature. Take care of your post at least several times a day. Bonus: Adjusting your stand, you connect parts of your body to your brain.
Every cell in our brain is thirsty for food given to us by the plant world. Ideally, our dishes should be unprocessed as far as possible. We must avoid everything that is pro-inflammatory and acid-forming, including dairy products, sugar, meat and simple carbohydrates. And here’s a recipe to start your day and give your brain cells what they need after starving at night: juice made from turmeric, ginger, cucumber, lemon and pear.
4. Food supplements
