“In Need for Speed Payback, the tuning returns, and more than ever,” publisher Electronic Arts and developer studio Ghost Games promise in the new trailer for the upcoming racing game. In doing so, the developers announce that each individual car part can be modified. Players are therefore not restricted to just a few body kits. This allows parts such as engines, nitro, brakes, circuits and exhausts to be exchanged at will.
Even live tuning during a race is possible. The tuning options in Need for Speed Payback also include the ability to customize the handling of your car to suit your needs. “You can call up the tuning knobs at any time – even while you’re driving – and set a new handling setup with a push-button. You do not even need to turn off the engine,” Electronic Arts promises.
In Need for Speed Payback, you have to master events to collect performance for your vehicle, depending on your performance. The better you place, the more parts you get. Alternatively you can go directly to a tuning shop to modify your car at will. In the game world of Need for Speed Payback, you occasionally come across old legendary vehicles, which can bring you new life through the tuning possibilities. The required parts can be found or purchased. You can find more infos after just one click on the following video. Need for Speed Payback will be released on November 10 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
