To see above: Sledgehammer, Activision and Sony have presented the first gameplay for Call of Duty: WW2 at the PlayStation-E3 press conference . And this shows tanks, airplanes and ships – in the multiplayer well-minded. Gone are the days of pure infantry battles, even if foot troops continue to be the focus.
The completely free class system is being replaced by five predefined divisions:
Airborne (Airborne Squadrons): The first in combat, act quickly and quietly
Expeditionary Force (Expeditionary Forces): Heating with firemunition
Therefore, the player’s equipment is not pre-defined, the division will only show known CoD multiplayer games – sniper, SMG-Run & Gun, Defensive and so on. Within these game styles / divisions the equipment is nevertheless interchangeable. Known weapons like the M1 Garand and the German MG42 can be seen.
What is not to be seen and quite surprised: Unlike, for example, Bethesda with Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus , Activision does not show an international version with hooks and a defused variant for Germany. The international trailer for Call of Duty: WW2 – like the revelation trail – shows an environment eroded by anti- constitutional symbols . We asked for Activision and expect a statement on the subject.
Call of Duty: WW2 will be released on November 3, 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. For PS4 players, a multiplayer beta was announced, which is scheduled to start on August 25th.
