Cleopatra from Assassin’s Creed Origins is causing a lot of discussions
Currently Cleopatra from Assassin’s Creed Origins provides for discussions between the developers and numerous historians. The latter accuse the game makers of choosing an extremely sexist depiction of the Egyptian queen, which has nothing in common with reality.
For many, Assassin’s Creed Origins has become exactly what they were hoping for in the series’ comeback. But not all are satisfied. So it is currently historians who take the work of Ubisoft in the criticism. This is mainly due to Cleopatra, who also plays in the open world game. This was – so the experts – but unnecessarily sexualized and a caricature of what the Egyptian queen really made.
As the page Polygon reports , the historians accuse the creators of a deliberately sexistically drawn image of the ruler. This is how she is presented in short clothing, shows a lascivious behavior and flirts with the men present as often as possible. In a scene, she offers sex if the partner is ready to be executed the next morning. This combination of power and sexual desire is a completely wrong picture, the experts said.
